Marvel already has quite a lucrative business with the numerous amount of films coming out in 2016 alone. However, the Deadpool film seems to set itself apart as it’s quite convention defying. It defies the convention of what people have come to expect from run-of-the-mill Superhero movies strewn throughout the past decade.
The Deadpool film is obtrusive, violent and profane. What’s more, if you’re a film buff, the film defies genre convention and traditional filming techniques we’ve come to expect from Marvel’s collection of superhero movies. Continuing in the convention defying vein, Deapool breaks the fourth wall multiple times. What does this mean? A 16 wall break? It’s completely refreshing superhero tale told in a completely refreshing way.
The predicted popularity of Deadpool has already seen the film greenlit for a sequel. However, do consider yourself warned. Remember the film is filled with profanities and may just lean towards the controversial side as it positions itself as a unique take on the entire superhero genre. For fear of experiencing FOMO, you may not want to miss your ride on the Deadpool frenzie train.
